Referrals
Please ensure all referrals are addressed to Prof Ramon Varcoe, and that they include your name, address, contact details and provider number. You can send referrals to us via fax on 02 9650 4910, or via email on prof.ramon.varcoe@gmail.com. GP referrals last for 12 months from date of receipt, and Specialist referrals last for 3 months from date of receipt.
Vascular Ultrasounds
Vascular Ultrasound is the first imaging modality Prof Varcoe orders to evaluate suspected venous and arterial disease. The Vascular Diagnostic Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital is our preferred imaging centre, providing high quality Duplex ultrasound. Common investigations ordered prior to or at a patient’s first appointment include Lower Limb Arterial Evaluation, Lower Limb DVT Exclusion and Venous Incompetence/Varicose Vein Studies. Consultation Fees
Full payment is required at the conclusion of every appointment. Our staff can process Medicare Rebate for patients. First Consultation: $300 (attracts a Medicare Rebate of approximately $81.30 with a valid Medicare Card)
Second and Subsequent Consultations: $150 (attracts a Medicare Rebate of approximately $40.85 with a valid Medicare Card)
